Bagpipes
Les
Lannom has been playing the bagpipes for over 20 years. The
bagpipes he is generally requested to play are the Great Highland
Bagpipes - the Irish version of which is known as the Irish
Warpipe.
He
also plays the Scottish Small Pipes, a smaller, quieter pipe
with a tone somewhat reminiscent of a clarinet.
Currently,
he is honing his skills at the Irish Uillean Pipes, one of the
more forlorn and beautiful sounding instruments in the bagpipe
family.
